50MM DIAMOND CORE DRILLING IN GRANITE

ECCLESTON, LANCASHIRE

We carried out diamond core drilling through granite kerbs in Eccleston, Lancashire, as part of a new outdoor lighting installation.

We drilled 46 individual 50mm diameter holes approximately 200mm deep into the granite kerbs, providing the openings required for both the recessed light fittings and associated cabling.

With the holes running along the finished kerb line, accurate positioning and consistent drilling were important to make sure each light could be installed neatly in the required location. Diamond drilling gave us a clean and controlled way of forming the openings through the granite without the need for heavy breaking.
